Lower Level Family Room

A cluttered Basement was transformed into a comfortable Lower Level Family Room for entertaining.
A white wash paint technique was used to cover old outdated paneling and to maintain the wood grain details. Beige paint was used for the trim to give it a more contemporary look.

Furniture was added for much needed storage, in addition to a large flat screen TV hung on the wall as a room focal point. The seating area was positioned in front of the TV for maximum viewing not only from the sectional but from the bar area as well. 'FLOR' carpet tiles were installed for aesthetics as well as functionality: for its ease of replacing when needed. Ottoman has a duel use as a coffee table and extra seating.

The custom draperies on traverse rods are in a beautiful stitched fabric that not only adds color to the room, but keeps out drafts from the sliding glass doors.
