The concept for this Master Bath renovation was to feel like
you were in a quiet retreat bathing outdoors alone in nature. The original
two-room bathroom was gutted to create one open room, and the dropped ceiling
above opened up. New windows positioned on either side of the sinks allowed for
maximum view of the unobstructed greenery in the backyard, as well as the
natural light coming from the skylight above. Tile was chosen and thoughtfully
placed to feel like a waterfall when in the tub and shower, and stone on the
ground. A clear glass shower enclosure, and two mirrors above the sinks further
illuminated the space and reflected these images around the room. The final
touch was subtle natural colors painted on the wall and ceiling.
